PlotScout is designed to help you scout and plan on your land. We collect only the information needed to run the app, and we keep it minimal.

Information we collect

When you create an account we store your email address and, if you sign in with a third-party provider, the basic profile details that provider shares. When you draw a parcel or save notes, we store those drawings, measurements, and notes so you can return to them later.

Location data

The "Locate Me" feature uses your device's location only when you tap it, and only to center the map on your current position. We do not track your location in the background.

How we use information

Your data is used solely to provide the app's features — measuring parcels, generating food-plot recommendations, and looking up public land-ownership records. We do not sell your personal information.

Public records

Ownership lookups rely on publicly available county assessor and parcel records. Results are a research aid and should be verified with the relevant county before being relied on.
